Sliwinski saved me!!

Sliwinski really worked with me on my exploring this week and it really helped me on my mock board. I feel so much more confident now!!! She even had me hand scale two quads of a class four, and even though it took me forever without the ultra sonic it really improved my calculus detection skills. I will be forever thankful to her.

Last Mock Board!!

On my last mock board I saw my actual board patient and I cleaned one of his quads. I was really worried when he told me he had to leave early. I did not think I would every get him cleaned in time and we were being graded on it! I had only an hour instead of the two hours I was supposed to get. The time went by so fast!!! I still felt one piece of calculus, but I had no more time. I sent my patient up to be checked. When he came back I feared the worst, but I only missed the one little spot I had already felt and just one more little burnished piece. After this I felt pretty good about clinic boards because I knew if I had more time I could have got the rest. Only a few more weeks and I will be done with my boards! Crazy!!! It has all gone so fast!

Class II's and V's

Class II's and V's are the story of my life!!! That is all I get and I have requirements for all sorts of III's and IV's and I never see any!!! What am I supposed to do I have seen pts. that have not been in for ten years and they still are not enough!! No board patient either and everyone around me is getting everything them. Maybe I am just not supposed to graduate!!! Thousands of dollars I have paid for school, and million of hoops I have had to jump through, and it is out of my control whether I graduate!!!!!!! ARRRRGGGGGG!!!! I am not happy!

The Last Semester!!!!!

So we have started our last semester and one week already down! Only like nine more till the boards! AHHHHHH!!! I am so scared that I have been working so long for this (just the last six years of my life). I hope I don't mess it all up in this last semester. I just gotta buckle down and study hard for a couple more months! Then it's Hawaii here I come!!! YEAH!!! Lets just cross our fingers!

I can't wait till Friday!

Last day of class for the semster! Yeah!!!! It is crazy to think in just four months I will be taking my boards. The stress is kicking in!!!

Last Day at the VA this semster!

Ahhhh! Relief! A break from waking up at 5:30 in the morning to come down to the Veterans Hospital! The morning and I don't get along! So it has been hard. I am trying to hold my eyes open right now. It is not working so well! Both my patients today were great! So it was a nice last day! We also celebrated by all of us girls going out to lunch! I love the girl luncheons!! One more semester and I am free!

Thanksgiving break!

NO SCHOOL! How nice!!! I am not looking forward to all the test for next week, but now is the time to relax!
